GRANTS FOR CHARGING POINTS AND ELECTRIC VEHICLES

EV Infrastructure grant

Up to £15,000 worth of funding for the infrastructure installation

Available for staff and fleets. SME business with up to 249 employees. Up to 75% towards the cost of installing infrastructure (min 5 parking spaces, with at least one space to having a working charge point). This scheme enables businesses to plan for the future by creating the infrastructure now and then installing further charge points later on

Workplace Charging Scheme

Up to £14,000 worth of funding for the charge point installations

A voucher based scheme that provides £350 (incl VAT) per charging socket, with a maximum of 40 charging sockets (can be spread over multiple sites). Covers up to 75% of the total cost of purchase and installation. If less than 40 sockets are supplied, future applications can be made up to 40 total)

Plug in van and truck Grant

Up to £5,000 worth of funding for each Electric large van purchased

£2,500 maximum for small vans up to 2.5 tonnes GVW (gross vehicle weight)

£5,000 maximum for larger vans/small trucks from 2.5 tonnes GVW up to 4.25 tonnes GVW

Our installation team will conduct all final tests, and set up your charging and the team leader will demonstrate the charge point functions to you. You will then be provided with all the required documentation.

Employee Charging

A full billing and payment solution is available and currently, Workplace charging attracts Government grant funding of up to £14,000 (£350 per charging socket with a maximum of 40 charging sockets and up to 75% of the total cost of purchase and installation)

Service & Maintenance Packages

One of our highly qualified engineers will be out within 24 hours if there are any problems with the charger.

This will ensure that the charge point is operating at the optimum level as designed, we will conduct a number of electrical tests, as well as checking all functions are working correctly.

One of the most used parts of any charge point is the plug or socket, this is due to the constant use and the place where the most wear and tear takes place. We will carry out a detailed inspection and look for any issues that could hinder future operation.

We will carry out a detailed inspection on the charge point which includes testing all electrical components and a test of tethered cable if applicable. 

We will remove all accessible covers and ensure that there are no signs of water ingress and that all seals are intact. We will internally inspect all components to ensure they are in a serviceable condition, including a check on all connections.

We will ensure that all electrical connections are clean and tight to ensure a good electrical connection is maintained. We will also clean all seals to ensure that they are working as designed, as well as cleaning the charge point externally.
